Mike ‘Mac’ McIntyre

Fellow Michiganiac and native Detroiter Mike “MAC” McIntyre joins our team on air 4-7p on WMUZ. Mac brings 26 years of radio experience to the Motor City. He recently finished up 10 years in Nashville, Tennessee, hosting a successful Christian morning show. Born and raised in Redford Twp, he understands the blue collar working tradition of Motown. His love for God and country will bring a fresh perspective to you, our family of WMUZ listeners, who have come to expect on air transparency and excellence from your hosts.

Mac’s entire family, including parents, older children and grandchildren, all reside in the Metro Detroit area. As Mac says “I’ll take about everything from the Gospel to Gratiot Ave.” Mike is an avid runner, weight lifter, hockey coach and player. His love for Detroit sports teams, especially his beloved Red Wings, will be evident on his show.

Mac and his wife Amanda are particularly passionate about outreach programs within the city of Detroit. Get engaged with Mac from 4-7pm on WMUZ. You’ll hear his heart, transparency, love of family and community. It will have impact on your life. WMUZ welcomes home Mike “MAC” McIntyre to Detroit on 103.5 The Light.

Pay It Forward Update!!

Good Morning!

This is Therese from Garden City. This is a picture of Tam and little Bob. They are the one's who the gift card is for. She is so happy! That was such a blessing to win the card for her. Fun too! Please pray for her. She needs money to pay off the rest of her schooling. She can't take the State boards for nursing until it is paid off. She will not be able to get a good paying job until then. Thanks you for all the great music! It is a blessing all the different things you play!

May you and your family be blessed! Therese
