Take WMUZ everywhere you go

One of the big reasons to have the app is so that you can listen to WMUZ anywhere you can connect to the Internet.  That’s especially helpful when you travel and want a taste of home, anywhere regular radio reception is difficult, and places where you don’t have ready access to a radio.  Just press play on player in the middle of the home page.  The station will contunue to play until you push stop, used a multi-media function like Open Mic, or close the app.

As well as tons of ways to communicate with us

The OFFICIAL WMUZ App offer many ways to connect with the station and its air staff.  You can use Open Mic to send short audio messages to the main general station message center, and individually to Chris Stevenson, Bob Dutko, Chris Ayotte, and Kim Adams. Tapping Connect from the main menu (accessed via the ‘hamburger menu’ in the upper left corner) takes you to the Connect page where you can call the station or business office, send an email, or connect to our Social Media pages.

Easily find our Advertising Partners

If you’re looking to connect to our advertising partners, tap the ‘Find Advertisers’ icon in the Podcasts and Links section of the home page, or the ‘Shop’ icon in the footer menu. The app will open an interactive map.  Tapping the ‘List’ icon in the upper right, will open a listing of all of our advertising partners.  They’re sorted by how far they are from you geographically, which comes in especially handy for advertising partners who have multiple locations, and you’re looking for the closest one. Tapping on their respective listings opens a detail card where you can tap ‘Directions’, which launches your default mapping app to show you the best route to take to get there. Tapping ‘Website’ takes you to that client’s page on wmuz.com where you can find more information. Tapping on the phone number opens your phone’s dialer making it very easy to call, should you prefer.

Share your photos and videos

You can also share photos and short videos with our listener content sharing feature.  This is great for when you’re at, say, a station event and you want to share memories.  Or maybe your pastor said something profound on Sunday that you want to share with other WMUZ listeners.  Maybe it’s your kid’s or grandkid’s first step – whatever picture or short video you think is worth sharing with the entire WMUZ community, you can with the content sharing feature.
