Beaumont doctor and WMUZ’s favorite podiatrist and foot surgeon, Dr. Thomas Hosey, was at the station recently on the Bob Dutko Show.

Dr. Thomas Hosey, DPM

Dr. Thomas HoseyDr. Thomas C. Hosey graduated from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich., in 1977 and from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He completed his residency at St. John North Shore Hospital in Harrison Township. Dr. Hosey has written numerous publications for medical journals and has lectured throughout the country on foot and ankle surgery. He is one of the premier podiatrists in the country who is board certified in foot and ankle reconstruction surgery. In addition, he is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a member of the Michigan State Podiatry Association and American Podiatric Medical Association. He is on staff at numerous hospitals in both Macomb and Oakland Counties including Troy Beaumont, Henry Ford Health Systems, St. John Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center and Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Ryan Murphy, DPM

Dr. MurphyDr. Ryan Murphy completed his undergraduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earned his DPM degree at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He completed his residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Mich., where he learned many of the newest and most cutting edge surgical techniques in foot and ankle reconstruction. He has published articles in podiatric medical journals and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Some of his specialties include forefoot surgery, fracture repair, sports medicine, and treatment/surgical correction of ankle pain. Dr. Murphy has gone on medical missions to remote countries where he and his team performed surgeries to correct severe deformities in local children. Dr. Murphy was born and raised in the Detroit area. He now lives here with his wife, daughter, and dog. He loves sports and is a big Detroit sports fan. He enjoys playing basketball, golf, tennis, and a multitude of other sports.
